Food at Miss Marples Tearoom
Waffles & Berries with Homemade Scones!
It was quite expensive, but tasted so good considering afternoon tea was up in the mountains.

Macro Lens Test
So I finally bought and received my Canon 60mm macro lens from DWI. First impressions? It's a quiet lens, is lighter than my previous zoom and can take both portrait and macro photos. I'm only just beginning so hopefully I get some better images going hehe
1st attempt in trying to get as close as possible to a fly using a large aperture of f/2.8, for a greater depth of field.

Ancient trees at Mt Dandenong
Trees surrounding the 1000 steps at Mt. Dandenong
... yes, I was game enough to bring my dslr up and down the track but not a water bottle.

Lunar New Year Lily
Pink lily flower in full bloom on the day of February 3rd.
Its fragrant smell fills the room while its colours of pale pink and white shine beautifully even from afar.

Giant Gelati
Photo taken with my iPhone 4.
Sophia's Restaurant on Burwood Highway.
It's a large gelati for $7... didn't end up finishing this with my friend but it was so good! Dared not to eat anything dairy after that for the rest of the day.

My baby pooch
Meet Rocky. He was born in 2003 (makes him about 7 years old or 41 years in human age).
His likes include chewing on unnecessary objects such as plastic bags rather than dentastix, digging old bread that is meant for the birds into garden beds, which as a result gives him a dirt-faced look (as posted below), putting weight on his ass when you try to carry him out of his comfortable sleeping position from his dog bed and demonstrating the male pee-ing action on trees without any pee left to pass out.
He is a picky eater and most of the time, will eat when he's on the brink of starvation. Otherwise, he will eat when you feed it to him like a baby. Vegetables are not his favourite, but some fruit would be considered okay. Schmakos and doggy chocolate bought from Harrods all the way from London are what he adores. He eats human food more than he does My Dog canned food... typical dog raised by an Asian family.
What is special about him is that he has an underbite that protrudes outside of his mouth and lies on his stomach with all fours spread out. Awwww... that's what makes him Rocky.

New year, new project
I will be attempting to photoblog so that I make use of my dslr. :]
Fyi, I only have a Canon 550D with an 18-135 IS lens. Have only owned it for 6 months so I'm still learning! ^^
