FOOD PICS.

The best part of a holiday is of course, the food!! London didn't offer many different and good tastings foods like we had hoped but there were some places worth spending money at to eat.

Some places in London/Paris I went to include Jamie's Italian, Laduree (Best macarons, pistachio and caramel my favourites), Pizza Express, The Hummingbird Bakery, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, The Ritz Hotel, Nandos, Maccas and of course, KFC. Other times we just stayed home and cooked. Images below refer to some places I named.

Paris - A weekend

Did a lot of walking yet again in very nice sunny weather. The best part of Paris is no doubt the Eiffel Tower (with a wait of almost an hour to get lift tickets to the top) and the FOOD. Croissants ftw! Oh, and the 1kg steak for 40 euros. Sorry, no pictures of either.

The Louvre was so crowded with tourists everywhere. We made our way first to the Mona Lisa, only to find that taking a photo with it was too difficult. However, after checking out other paintings and sculptures, we managed to find the perfect spot to prove we saw the famous painting up close and in person. Woo!

Rome - A weekend

Making the most of a weekend in Rome, Italy! It was a hot 33 degrees and water was our only saviour. Thank goodness for free cold water straight out from the pipes in Vatican City.

my dslr

Bought this baby in London for 899 pounds. Equivalent to about $1500 AUD.
It sells for almost $2000 AUD in Australia for the same thing, body and lens together.

Great quality pictures with 18mp, has easy-to-use manual functions and live LCD view display.

Canon 550D with 18-135mm IS lens
